Day 1

Tashkent

TASHKENT

Arrival to Tashkent airport. Meeting at the airport by English speaking guide.

Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. City tour.

Visiting the oldest parts of Tashkent: Mosque Tilla-Shaykh (19 c) – “Mosque of Khast Imam” where the oldest Qur’ani Karim of Sayidin Usman is kept.- The Square of Khazrati Imam {(16 c)– the square was reconstructed in the last century. Kaffal Al-Shashi Mausoleum {(16 c) – the tomb of Imam Abu Bakr Mukhammad al-Kaffal Shashi. He is known as one of the first Muslim Imams and famous poet and prophet. Madrassah and Mosque Barak Khan (15-16 c) – was built by Suyunidj Khan,the first ruler of Uzbek dynasty of the Shaybonids- Mosque Namozgoh {(19 c)}. Lunch. Independence square, Amir Temur square. Local bazaar Chorsu.

Day 2

 Tashkent-Termez-Denau- Boysun (Kishvar village)-Termez

(190 kms one way)

 Breakfast in the Hotel. Transfer to the local airport for the flight to Termez. Arrival to Termez and drive to Denau city to visit pilgrimage sights of Khazrat Alauddin Ibn Mukhammad Attari # 17 in Golden silsila, The son-in-law of Bakhauddin Naqshband, Khazrat Khodja Khasan Attor ( grandson of Bakhouddin Naqshband, son of Alauddin Attor. Then drive to the village Kishvar (40 kms from Denau) to visit the grave of the great- grandson of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi Kadi Mukhammad Az-Zohid # 19 in Golden Silsila. Retun back to Termez. Dinner.

Day 3

Termez-Bukhara

(460 km)

Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. Visit the Mausoleum of Imam Khakim At-Termizi and then  drive to Bukhara. Arrival to Bukhara. Free time. Dinner.

Day 4

Bukhara

Early breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the outside of Bukhara.

Visiting the maqams of 7 great sufi saints of Bukhara:  Abdul Al-Khalik Al Gijduvani (in the city of Gijduvan, 60 km from Bukhara, the founder of sufistic branch “Khodjagon”), 10 in Golden Silsila  Khodja Mukhammad Orif ar-Revgari (near to the city of Shafirkan), 11 in Golden Silsila  Khodja Makhmud Anjir Fagnaviy (in the village of Anjirbog  of Vabkent district),# 12 in Golden Silsila  Khodja Ali Rometani (Khodja Azizon) from the village of Kurgan near the city of Rometan.#13 in Golden Silsila. Amrillo Sultonov has been working as imam-khatib for 15years in the complex. Khodja Muhammad Boboyi Samosi(in the village of Samosin, Rometan) Khodja Said Mir Kulol, one of his most famous pupils, ).# 14 in Golden Silsila  Khodja Said Mir Kulol (he was born not far from the village of Sukhor). He was famous as the spiritual master of Bakhouddin Naksband. # 15 in Golden Silsila  Ensemble of Bakha-ad-Din Nakshband {12km from Bukhara, in the village of Qasri Orifon. Mukhammad Ibn Jaloliddin Khodjai Buzrug became famous under the name of Bakhouddin Nakshbandi – the founder of one of the most famous branches of Sufism – branch of “Nakshbandiya”. Return to Bukhara. Short sightseeing of Bukhara. Visiting the oldest part of Bukhara: Ensemble of Lyabi Khauz Khonako and Mosque of Nadir Divan Begi (16 c), Madrassah Kukeldash (15 c), monument of Khodja Nasreddin, Trade Domes {16 c): Тоkhi Sarrofon, Тоkhi Telpakfurushon, Tokhi Zargaron – Mosque Magoki Attori {12-16 c),Caravan Saray of Bukhara – Timi Abdullakhon {(16 c), Madrassah Ulughbek {(15 c), was built by the grandson of Amir Timur. In the entry written as: “Learning is farz for every muslim man and woman”} – Madrassah of Abdulazizkhon {(17 c)} – Mosque Kalan {(16c)} – Active Madrassah Miri Arab {(16 c)} – Minaret Kalan (symbol of Bukhara. Another name of the minaret is “minaret of death”} ,Active Mosque Poi Kalon {(16 c)}.- Dinner.

 

 

 

Overnight in Bukhara.

Day  5

Bukhara-Samarkand (300 kms)

Morning drive to Samarkand. On the way to Samarkand stop over for the ziyara of the Mosque and Mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari (Al-Bukhari Mukhammad bin Ismail Abu Abdallakh al-Djufi (810-870) 20 km far from Samarkand). Then visit the graveyard of Makdumi A’zam Dahbedi, one of the leading sheikhs of Naqshbandiya tariqat in the 16th century. Arrival to Samarkand and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner.

Day 06

Samarkand

 Breakfast in the hotel.  Ziyara of Samarkand: Necropolis ShakhiZinda {(12-15 c): burial place of Kusamibn Abbas – cousin of prophet Muhammad (s.a.v.)} – Mausoleum of Prophet Daniel – Mosque of SayidinaKhidr (a.s.) the first mosque in Samarqand. – Mosque BibiKhanim {(14 c), was built for the honour of wife of Amir Temur} – Madrassah of Bibi Khanim – Hazrat Imam al Moturidi -Abulays as Samarqandi. LUNCH.  Continuation of ziyara: Reghistan square {(15-17 c) – the heart of Samarkand, consists of 3 madrassahs: Madrassah Uughbek, MadrassahTillakari and Madrassah Sherdar}, Gur-Emir mausoleum {Burial place of Amir Temur and his dynasty} – Rukhobod mausoleum {Burial place of Shaykh Burkhoniddin Sagardji} –

Mosque and Tomb of Khodja Ubaydulla Akhror {was head of “Nakshbandiya” in 15c.}.  Dinner.

Overnight in Samarkand

 

Day  07

Samarkand-Kitab-Shahrisabz-Samarkand (150 kms one way)

Breakfast and transfer to Shahrisabz via Kitab, visiting holy pilgrimage sights of Khazrat Dervish Mukhammad As Samarkandi and Khodja Makhmud al-Khanaki. We continue to Shahrisabz. Upon arrival we visit: Ak-Saray Palace, Dorut-Tilovat and Dorus-Siodat Complexes, Mausoleum of Sheikh Shamsiddin Kulol, Mausoleum of Gumbazi Saidon. Lunch. Continue driving back to Samarkand .Dinner.

Samarkand-Tashkent (300 kms)
