Lunch

Visit to the ruins of ancient Panjakent, which was destroyed by the Arabs.

Lunch at a local teahouse where we will try vegetarian Panjakent pilaf! Visit to local suzani embroiderers! You can not only watch the embroidery process, but also buy a souvenir.

After lunch, a visit to the local history museum will not leave history lovers indifferent.

 

Then transfer towards the 7 lakes. 7 lakes is one of the natural wonders of Tajikistan.

Dinner with music. Today we will be pleased with the work of a local singer on the rubab! After lunch Transfer towards Iskandarkul (240 km, 6 hours). And before that, a visit to one of the ancient cities of Central Asia, Istaravshan. The city is famous for its artisans, traditions, and customs. We will visit the blacksmith’s row and the house of the master of clay toys – “adzhuba” usto Ergash.

Next, Zarafshan awaits us! Accommodation in a guest house. A walk around the village and its surroundings.

Dinner. In the evening, the guide will tell you stories about local legends.

Alouddin Lakes – Mutnoye Lake – Alouddin Lakes (7 hours of trekking)

A walk around the lakes. They are beautiful. They reflect the sky, they are so clear!

Today we have a bit of a difficult day, trekking towards Mutnoye Lake. The road takes about 3.5 hours one way. But it’s worth it! We will see the highest point of the Fann Mountains Chimtarga (5489m). The lake is actually muddy.

Return to the camp. In the evening, a visit to a summer village. In the Fanns, women climb the mountains in the summer and do subsistence farming. They milk cows, make kefir, butter, dry cheese “kurut” from milk, and all this is done the old-fashioned way.

Overnight at the camp. The night in the mountains is incomparable. Sometimes it seems that you can reach the stars with your hands! They are so close in the mountains!

The area of ​​the lake is 307 hectares, and the greatest depth is 72 m.

Visit to the Snake Lake, 5 springs (Pandzhchashma), Fanskaya Niagara – Waterfall.

Right from the guest house you can enjoy the beautiful views of the peaks of the Fann Mountains – Chimtarga.
