PETROGLYPHS OF UZBEKISTAN
Description
Petroglyphs of Uzbekistan Tour for 10 Days
Petroglyphs are rock paintings. They are archaeological monuments. Their scientific significance is very high. There is still no consensus on when exactly the first petroglyphs appeared. This is not surprising, since rock paintings were created at different times, in the early ones – only animals are depicted, in later ones – people already appear. Over the past centuries, climatic and human factors have greatly influenced the preservation of the drawings. The earliest petroglyphs are distinguished by their elegance. The meaning of what is depicted in the drawings was of great importance. Later images are no longer so smooth, they are rougher and coarser in their execution. In the same period, symbols and signs began to appear on the images. A little later, paper was invented.
We offer you a very unusual tour. The tour route includes not only learning the value of the petroglyphs themselves, but also getting to know the life of the local population. You will see the nature of the mountains, learn historical information and the culture of the Uzbek people. Along the route, you will encounter fields, branchy vineyards, different cities, villages, towns of the village type, ancient hills, gorges, caves, canals, rivers, waterfalls, flowering foothills, petroglyphs, ruins of ancient villages. And also the snowy mountains of Chimgan, incredibly beautiful mountain forests, museums and reserves. We organize overnight stays in different places, depending on the level of life, place, weather, culture, etc. It can be a cozy hotel, a comfortable rest home, a tent city, or even a yurt (!).
