After breakfast, we will move to Lake Issyk-Kul, which is one of the largest alpine lakes in the world. On the way, near the city of Tokmak, we will visit the Burana historical complex, located on the ruins of the ancient settlement of Balasagun (the capital of the Karakhanid Empire). The Burana Tower is part of the Kyrgyz Archaeological and Architectural Museum and is protected by the state as a first-class monument of cultural heritage. Its construction dates back to the 10th-11th centuries and is one of the oldest structures in Central Asia. After the excursion, continue to Tamga. On the way to the village of Kyzyl-Tuu, you will visit one of the families of the village, which is engaged in the production of yurt parts (the dwelling of the nomadic Kyrgyz people). You will be offered to watch the process, in which you can take part. Upon arrival on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul, accommodation in a yurt camp on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Morning program. Breakfast in the yurt camp. After moving to “Gorge “Skazka” an amazing place where sandy red formations take various fabulous forms. After breakfast, transfer to Karakol. On the way, visit the Barskaun gorge. Walk to one of the waterfalls. In the clearing by the road near the waterfalls there is a monument to the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who loved this place very much and rested in the nearby military sanatorium Tamga. Continuation of the journey to Karakol. Also, you will visit the gorge – Zheti Oguz. It is famous for its red stone formations, which are called the Seven Bulls – Jeti Oguz. You will also see a mountain in the form of a broken heart.
