Hovli Poyon

The history of this house began in the mid-19th century, at the time commander named Urganchi built luxury home. This event is of interest to even the Bukhara Emir Ahad Khan, who came to the feast in honor of the completion of construction. Emir admired the beauty of the finish, the young Bey gave house ruler. Delighted Ahad Khan in turn gave Urganchi royal chapan, jewels and his armor. Emir gave the name of the construction – Hovli Poyon, in a literal translation – “the house down”, that is, in the downtown area, as seen from the winter residence of the Emir (Arch).

Living in a house with such a rich history is doubly interesting. Going down the alley to the old madrasahs Gozien, plunge into the unique flavor of the East, stands next to a complex of Khodja Gaukushon.

In one part of the yard are arranged guest rooms, and the other – the hotel rooms. Total in the hotel has 22 air-conditioned rooms – single and triple – one by one. The 6 are double beds, and 14 – the two are separate. The room has a TV with a bunch of multi-lingual channels. There are individual bathrooms with bathtubs or showers. Plus there is a hair dryer.

A spacious courtyard with deckchairs has kurpacha and pillows, as well as tables and chairs. In the rainy season eating in a closed room decorated ganch and tiny arched niches. In “Hovli Poyon” is prepared not only European and national cuisine as well as vegetarian dishes.
