Tashkent – Khiva – Bukhara – Samarkand – Tashkent

During this 8 days tour you will explore cultural and historical geritage of Uzbekistan and taste: Uzbek pilaf, tandoor manty, juicy kebabs and aromatic somsa, horsemeat sausage – Kazi, shurpa soup, khanum , tandoor-kabob in Bukhara, Lagman in Tashkent, nohat in Samarkand, exotic tukhum-barack and shivit-oshi in Khiva – this is small part of the list of national dishes in the uzbek cuisine! Get new cooking skills on national uzbek food master classes . Also driving through enigmatic dessert with a great number of uzbek sweets, fresh fruits, dry fruits and various types of nuts.

 

Day 1 Tashkent

Arrive Tashkent. Meet with your guide at the airport. Then transfer to Hotel check in at the hotel.

Tashkent lagman and kazan kabob

3:00-14:00 Lunch at national restaurant «Choy Poy» (lagman, kazan kabob, 3 types of salads, ice cream, tea, water, bread).

14:00 Beginning Tashkent city tour: visiting Hast-Imam complex with Barak-Khan madrasah (16 в.), mosque and library of Tilla Sheikh, Abu Bark Kaffal Shohsi mausoleum (16 в.). Kukeldash Madrassah (16 в.). You will visit national, Oriental Bazaar – Chorsu. Here you can buy souvenirs of sunny and hospitable Uzbekistan.

Tashkent kebabs

20:00 Dinner at national restaurant «Sim-Sim» (mushroom soup, kebabs, 3 types of salads, ice cream, tea, water, bread).

Overnight in Tashkent 

Day 2 Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva

06:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 Transfer to the domestic airport .

09:00 Fly to Urgench.

11:00 Arrive in Urgench. Transfer to Khiva  (30 km.).

12:00 Khiva city tour: Visit  Ichan-Qula Fortress, Kunya-Arc, White Mosque (Arch Mosque or Oq-Masjid), Kalta Minaret, Juma Mosque, Toshkhovli Palace, Minaret Islom-Khodja and Islom-Khodja Madrassah, Pakhalavan Makhamud Mausoleum.

Khiva shifit osh

13:00 Lunch at national restaurant «Зеравшан» (shivit osh soup, gumma, 3 types of salads, season fruits, tea, water, bread).

14:00 Continues city tour.

Tukhum barak 

19:00 Dinner at national restaurant «Yassaul Boshi» (pumpkin soup, tukhum barak, 3 types of salads, season fruites, tea, water, bread).

Overnight in Khiva

Day 3 Khiva – Bukhara

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 Departure to Bukhara via Kyzyl-Kum dessert. Lunch on the way.

17:00 Arrive in Bukhara. Check in to the hotel.

19:00 Dinner at national restaurant «Chinara» (nukhat shurpa, manty, 3 types of salads, season fruites, tea, water, bread)

Overnight in Bukhara

Day 4 Bukhara

08:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 Visit workshop on weaving carpets of Bukhara.

Master class of somsa 

11:00 Visit guest house «Doston house» (shurpa, Bukhara pilaf, somsa, 3 types of salads, season fruits, tea, water, bread).

Owners of the house will welcome you warmly and show their home, as well as show cooking in the tandoor Uzbek Somsa.

13:00 City tour of Bukhara: Visit Pan-Kalyan, The Kalyan Minaret, Magoki Attari Mosque, Miri Arab Masrassah, Lyabi Hauz Complex.

19:00 Dinner at Nodir Devan Begi madrasah with Uzbek folklore show.

Overnight in Bukhara 

Day 5 Bukhara – Gijduvan – Samarkand

08:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 Departure to Gijduvan to visit a traditional ceramic workshop of Alisher Narzullaeva where you can see the process of producing ceramics; visit the Museum of Ceramics; buy pottery Gijduvan artisans; taste dishes of Uzbek national cuisine; undergo a special training course under the supervision of Gijduvan masters.

14:00 After lunch (mastava soup, dimlyama, 3 types of salads, fresh fruits, tea, water, bread) departure to Samarkand.

17:00 Arrive in Samarkand. Check in to the hotel. Visit vine tasting in vine factory of Khovrenko.

19:00 Dinner at national restaurant «Samarkand» (Soup with meatballs, kebabs in an assortment, 3 types of salads, fresh fruits, tea, water, bread).

Overnight in Samarkand 

Day 6 Samarkand

08:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 Samarkand city tour: visit the most famous “Registan” three madrasas (15c. -17 v.), Ulugbek observatory (15 c.), Gur-Emir (15 in.), The Museum of Afrasiab.

18:00 Show program at the Theater of historical costume – El Merosi. This is one of the best theater shows in Samarkand. Professional dancers will demonstrate their dancing outfits, traditions and customs of the Uzbek people.

19:00 Dinner at restaurant «Dasterkhan» (chicken soup, , stuffed peppers, dolma, stuffed cabbage, 3 types of salad, seasonal fruit, tea, water)

Overnight in Samarkand

Day 7 Samarkand

08:00 Breakfast at the hotel

09:00 Continue sightseeing in Samarkand: visit the necropolis Shahi Zinda, the mausoleum of Khodja Daniyarl.

11:00 Visit to National House Zulfiya where the hostess with her family to hold a master class in cooking Samarkand pilaf. Also, for a tasty dinner, you can watch the video of Zulfiya’s son of the Uzbek wedding.

14:00 Visit to the mausoleum of Bibi Haknum and bazaar “Siab”. Here you can buy fruits and oriental sweets. You will also see the famous Samarkand bread. You will be fascinated by the variety and, most importantly the taste of this unusual bread.

16:00 Transfer to railway station.

17:00 Departure to Tashkent by “Afrosiab” train.

19:10 Arrive in Tashkent. Transfer for the dinner at national restaurant “Bek”.

Overnight in Tashkent 

Day 8 Tashkent

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the International airport.
