ITINERARY:

Day 1
Ashgabat

Meet at the Ashgabat International Airport.
Early transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
Visit to Baharly Carpet Factory (100 km to the west of Ashgabat). Get to learn about the history of creation of Akhal carpets.
 Drive to Serdar city.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Serdar Carpet Factory. Get acquainted with the stages involved in carpet manufacturing, learn various carpet weaving techniques and take a look at hand-made items.
 Return to Ashgabat. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2
Ashagabat

08:00 Drive to the Oriental bazaar “ Tolkuchka”, the biggest market place in Central Asia. Witness the impeccable beauty of Turkmen carpets and silver hand-made jewelry, purchase souveniers.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Sight-seeing of Ashgabat city and a visit to the National Museum of History, which boasts its collection of ancient Turkmen carpets. Enjoy the picturesque location of the Museum at the foothills of Kopetdag Mountains.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3
Ashgabat

09:00 Visit the Turkmen Carpet Museum. Track the creative development of long-standing traditions of carpet and rug making.  The museum stores about 2000 exhibits, including rare carpets and handicrafts woven by hand by skilled artisans. 
Visit the local open-air “Russian” bazaar and “Altyn Asyr” Marketing Center, located nearby. Look around and purchase hand-made items and textile clothes as well as useful household items, all of local production.
 Lunch at a local restaurant.
 In the afternoon, visit a Carpet Showroom and then a House of Models. Worth to mention that collections developed by modern designers are in high demand in Turkmenistan and abroad.
You will be touched by genuine femininity of the romantic heroin characters of Oriental fairytales, elegancy of exclusive dresses, their ingenuity which implies rich cultural and historical subtext.
 Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4
 
Ashagabat – Mary – Turkmenabat

Early transfer for the domestic flight Ashgabat-Mary.
Upon arrival to Mary visit the Carpet Factory.  
Make yourself comfortable at the weaving loom next to the experienced carpet-maker and endeavor to knit the nodes.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Wool Processing Factory, established in 2014. The raw materials, manufactured by the factory, fully meets the industry’s requirements and volumes, enabling part of the production be exported to foreign consumers.   
15:00 Drive to Turkmenabat. Accommodation at the hotel.
Dinner at the local restaurant

Day 5
Halach – Turkmenabat – Ashgabat

07:30 After the breakfast a trip to Halach town. 
Visit local Carpet Factory where the experts of creative carpet-making introduce you to the factory production capacity and advanced weaving machinery, purchased specifically for production of giant carpets. 
Lunch at Halach.
Return to Turkmenabat.
Evening transfer to the domestic airport to board the flight Turkmenabat-Ashgabat.

Day 6
 
Ashgabat

Night transfer to Ashgabat International airport to depart to Istanbul, Frankfurt or Moscow. End of the tour
