We offer an intensive historical-archeological tour of Termez, Shakhrisabz, Samarkand and Tashkent, which consists of a combination of historical and architectural components, as well as participation in archaeological excavations ..

 

 

Day 1 Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Free time.

Overnight at hotel in Tashkent.

Day 2 Tashkent – Termez

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of local airlines. Departure by morning flight to Termez. Arrival in Termez. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. City Tour:

Archaeological Museum,
Fayaz-Tepa (II-III centuries),
mausoleum Hakim Al-Termeziy (IX-XV centuries) (4 km),
Buddhist stupa Zurmala (7 km),
mausoleum of Sultan Saodat (X-XV centuries) (7.5 km),
hanaka Kukildor-ota (XVI century) (4 km),
the nunnery Kirk-kiz (IX-X cc.) (4 km).
Dinner. After dinner, drive back to Termez.

Day 3 Termez

Breakfast. Moving to the archaeological base (120 km). On the way, visit the Dzhirkurgan minaret (XII century) and Alexander the Great Bridge. Arrival to Dalverzintep. Acquaintance with the local archaeologist. Dinner. Transfer to the archaeological site (1 km). Beginning of excavations. Dinner. After dinner, drive back to Termez.

Day 4 Termez

Breakfast. Moving to the archaeological base for excavations. Lunch at the archaeological camp (12:00). Break for rest (14:00). Continuation of excavation (16:00). Dinner.

Breakfast. Moving to the archaeological base for excavations. Lunch at the archaeological camp (12:00). Break for rest (14:00). Continuation of excavation (16:00). Dinner.

Day 6 Termez – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand

Breakfast. Transfer by car to Samarkand through Shakhrisabz. Excursion around Shahrisabz:

ruins of the palace Ak-Saray (XIV-XV centuries),
complex Dorut Tilyavat (Gumbaz Sayidan, mosque Kok Gumbaz (XV century)),
complex Dorut Saodat (mosque Hazrat Imam (XIV century),
the mausoleum of Jahongir (XIV century)).
Lunch in the city. After the end of the tour, continue the journey to Samarkand. Arrival in Samarkand. Hotel accommodation.

Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 7 Samarkand

Breakfast. City Tour:

museum “Afrosiab”,
Observatory of Ulugbek (XV century),
the architectural complex Shakhi-Zinda (XI-XV centuries),
the tomb of the Timurids – the mausoleum of Gur Emir (XIV-XV centuries).
Lunch at a local restaurant. Continuation of excursion:

mosque and the mausoleum Bibi-khanym
The Siab Bazaar,
Registan square: Sher-Dor madrasah (XVII century), Till-Kori madrasah (XVII century), Madrassah of Ulugbek (XV century).
Dinner.

Overnight at hotel in Samarkand.

Day 8 Samarkand – Tashkent

Breakfast. Transfer to railway station. Transfer to Tashkent by speed-train “Afrasiab”.

Lunch. City Tour:

Museum of Applied Arts,
theater A. Navoi,
Old town: Barrakhan madrasah (XVI century), Chorsu bazaar, etc.
Dinner. Transfer to the airport of international airlines.

Departure from Tashkent.
