Sardoba

This architectural monument is located in the settlement Kainar located on the right bank of the river Akhangaran. Ten kilometers north of this monument is the city of the same name. For the first time Sardoba, built mainly of burnt bricks, came to the attention of researchers in 1934. The structure has the shape of a dome, built over the spring. Some legends say that Sardoba dates from the early nineteenth century, but the documentary evidence is not possible yet.

Today Sardoba is a monument to the first aqueduct, which was built in the region. A caravanserai, built here at the same time collapsed by almost 50 percent.
