Chayhana “Parvoz” – one of the institutions in Ichan-Kala (the inner part of the city) near the pool (house). It’s a real pleasure to sit here in hot weather and drink green tea, looking at the clear water of the house. The interior is made with the consideration that any guest, whether a tourist or a local resident, should feel comfortable and cozy here for lunch or dinner. There are no luxurious cushions sewn with gold threads, carpets and kurpachi. Everything is quite simple, but at the same time with taste. Tables and tablecloths, cleanliness and comfort, hospitable staff – everything here is sympathetic.
The menu is quite extensive: soups, fragrant kebabs, manties only that are taken from the steamer, hearty pilaf, light vegetable salads. There are a lot of dishes, but it’s impossible to try everything at once – portions are not very small. The prices are slightly above the average level in Khiva.
Music does not always play here, but if it plays, then certainly the national folklore is mixed with modern pop.
Dinner at the very walls of Ichan-Kala – this in itself is not just a dinner, no matter what you ordered. The atmosphere of the ancient East in combination with its traditional dishes makes you immerse yourself in the philosophy of this place. And this is the most important thing that a person can get from a simple tea-house visit “Parvoz”. Therefore, strolling along the Ichan-Kale, look here at least an hour, for one and a good snack.
