Georgian National Botanical Garden

Fans of this Georgian nature have a unique opportunity to admire all live floral splendor, located on the territory of Tbilisi Botanical Garden. The complex is located in the central part of Tbilisi, near the ridge Sololaki. Not far from this place is the river Tsavkisistskala, creating a cozy atmosphere, as well as saving on the prevailing heat.

The total area of the botanical garden, opened in the nineteenth century, has almost 128 hectares. The territory is divided in thematic units, connected by small bridges. In total you can find more than three and a half thousand rare fauna specimens, most of which are included in the National or International Red Book.

In order to create a more pleasant atmosphere, many flower arrangements were planted along the fountains, artificial lakes, and so on.
