Wine tour in Uzbekistan

As it is known Uzbekistan and other countries in Asia are not relevant to the main wine-growing powers of the world, however, these countries have a long history of winemaking and viticulture.

In this program, OOO «Elite Tours International» offers to visit wine factory items “TashentVino.” Walk along grape fields and taste the famous wines of Uzbekistan. “Combine Tashkentvino” has been functioning since 1867, that is 145 years old. Tashkentvino produces immense range of quality spirits.
 
In addition to visiting “ToshkentVino” We offers to visit the Scientific-Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking by R.R. Schroeder.
 
The total area of research institutions and experimental farms SRI is more than 11 thousand. Ha. The Institute and its research institutions has 23 departments, laboratories and quarantine kennel. The institute has about 300 scientific and technical staff

 

Day 1 Tashkent (Monday)

 The tour is planned to start from the morning in Tashkent International Airport, where you will be met by our guide and taken to the hotel for accommodation.

10:00     In the afternoon sightseeing tour by  coach – take place in Tashkent: visit The Khast Imam complex (16 c), the library of Koran and other old manuscripts, Kukeldash Madrasa (16 c), The local market “Chorsu”, The Museum of Applied Arts.

Day 2 Tashkent (Tuesday)

08:00     Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00     Drive to Tashkent region, Parkentsky district, village “Namdanak”.

Departure from Tashkent. During  the road to the village, your guide will telling you about Uzbekistan, climate, geography Tien Shan, “Uzbekistan is a country wine”, legends and traditions of winemaking in Uzbekistan “History – Parkenta, the appearance of the village” Uzbekskiy- Shampan “.

Arriving in the village “Namdanak.” Inspection areas. Photo-set “Traditions of the East” (optional with national costume);

Tour of the Wine farm with horse trail through the vineyards “familiarization wine grape varieties: Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ping, Nauru, Aleatico, local varieties of dessert: Rizamat, chilliki, bark-chrros, Ladies finger, Husani etc.

13:00     Lunch with a combination of wines with local food, and a sense of taste wine from the products. Presentation of commemorative gifts (selected varieties of classic wine autographed by the author and winemaker) and commemorative certificate “Crimson Sunrise, White Sun-wine tour in Uzbekistan.” Departure to Tashkent.

Day 3 Tashkent – Samarkand (Wednesday)

06:00     Early breakfast at the hotel.

07:15     Transfer to the railway station.

08:00     Departure to Samarkand by train “Afrosiab”.

10:00     Arrive in Samarkand. Transfer to the hotel. Check in.

10:30     Beginning city tour in Samarkand: Gur-Emir Mausoleum – the tomb of Tamerlane and other Timurids, Rukhabad Mausoleum (“The Spirit Abode”) – according to one legend, inside this dome there is a box with seven hairs of Prophet Mukhammed (XIV c.),  The Registan Square (“Sandy Place”) – the most visiting place of Samarkand, which consists of three magnificent monuments : Ulugbek Madrasah (XV c.), Sherdor Madrasa (XVII c.), Tilla-Kari Madrasa, Bibikhanim Mosque,named after the elder wife of Tamerlane (XIV c.). The architectural complex Shakhi-Zinda (“A living King”) – The name of the complex is connected with the name of Kusam Ibn Abbas – the cousin of Prophet Mukhammed (XI-XV cc.).

17:00     Visiting Samarkand wine tasting by Khovrenko.

 Overnight in Samarkand

Day 4 Samarkand – Bukhara (Thursday)

08:00     Breakfast at the hotel.

11:00     Transfer to the railway station.  

12:12     Departure to Bukhara by train “Shark”. 

15:15     Arrive in Bukhara. Transfer to the hotel. Free time for rest.

19:00     Visiting national Uzbek show at Nodir Devan Begi madrasah.  

20:00     Dinner at restaurant at “Dolon”, where you can enjoy on open-air terrace with amazing view on night Bukhara.

Day 5 Bukhara – Tashkent (Friday)

08:00     Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00     Beginning city tour of Bukhara: “The Samanids Mausoleum” – the most ancient brickwork building in Central Asia, the masterpiece of world architecture (IX-X cc.), “The Chashmai Ayub mausoleum”. “The Bolo Khavuz Mosque” (beginning of the XXth c.), The Ark Citadel – the center of government system of Bukhara (IV c. BC), the silk carpet shops, “The Poi Kalon Complex”  (“The foot of the Great”), The Kalon Minaret – the main symbol of holy Bukhara (XII c.).  “The Kalon Mosque”,  The Mir Arab Madrasa – the functioning madrasa, one of the mostly esteemed spiritual Islamic universities (XVI c.), “Toki Zargaron” – The cupola of jewelers. (XV-XVI cc.), The Ulugbek Madrasa – the first of the three madrasa, built by Tamerlane’s grandson Ulugbek (XV c.), The Abdulazizkhan Madrasa, The Abdullakhan Madrasa (1588-1590.), Imam Al-Bukhariy Madrasa.

Free time for shopping on bazaar.

19:00     Transfer to the airport.

22:10     Flight to Tashkent. Arrive in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Tashkent

Day 6 Tashkent (Saturday)

08:00     Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the International restaurant for flight to Motherland.
