Bebristsikhe – ancient ruins located in the Northern part of the town on a steep slope. Earlier on this place there was a fortification construction of rather small size. Historical documents say that in 1156 the fortress could accommodate about one dozen soldiers and very little ammunition. The fortress is also mentioned in connection with the death of the ruler Demeter I. a Serious blow to the fortress was struck in 2010 by a landslide.
