In the city of Tashkent on Rashidov Avenue, 4a is one of the most famous and beloved museums in the country – the Museum of Olympic Glory. Here are collected unique exhibits, vividly telling about the victories and participation in the olympiads, as well as other international competitions.

The great contribution to the development of museum history was made by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, who donated his awards – gold medals, a gold necklace, cups and numerous souvenirs, which he received for the active development of the sport life of the region. They are on a separate honorable exposition. In the museum you can find not only awards of different levels of modern athletes – there are a lot of rare medals, analogues which it is simply impossible to find.

On separate showcases there are cups brought from different countries of the world, torches, commemorative coins, as well as a number of souvenirs and stamps reflecting memorable dates and the most significant moments for the history of the country. Here you can get acquainted with sports equipment of different times, and also compare how different the modern sportswear from the costumes of the last century began to differ.

Of great interest is printed products, with which you can learn about those facts, which even textbooks will not tell. When you come to the museum of Olympic glory, you can not just get acquainted with the exhibits, but learn in detail the history of victories of Uzbek athletes at games of different levels, including the Olympic and Asian.
